Psalmus 118. ix.  Mirabilia

129  Mirabília testimónia tua: * ídeo scrutáta est ea ánima mea.
130  Declarátio sermónum tuórum illúminat: * et intelléctum dat párvulis.
131  Os meum apérui, et attráxi spíritum: * quia mandáta tua desiderábam.
132  Aspice in me, et miserére mei: * secúndum judícium diligéntium nomen tuum.
134  Rédime me a calúmniis hóminum: * ut custódiam mandáta tua.
135  Fáciem tuam illúmina super servum tuum: * et doce me justificatiónes tuas.
136  Exitus aquárum deduxérunt óculi mei: * quia non custodiérunt legem tuam.
137  Justus es, Dómine: * et rectum judícium tuum.
138  Mandásti justítiam testimónia tua: * et veritátem tuam nimis.
139  Tabéscere me fecit zelus meus: * quia oblíti sunt verba tua inimíci mei.

Psalm 118. ix.  Mirabilia

129  Thy testimonies are wonderful; * therefore doth my soul keep them.
130  The unfolding of thy words giveth light : * yea, it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131  I opened my mouth, and drew in my breath; * for I longed for thy commandments.
132  O look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, * as thou usest to do unto those that love thy Name.
133  Order my steps in thy word; * and let not any wickedness have dominion over me.
134  O deliver me from the wrongful dealings of men; * and so shall I keep thy commandments.
135  Show the light of thy countenance upon thy servant, * and teach me thy statutes.
136  Rivers of water run down mine eyes, * because men keep not thy law.
137  Righteous art thou, O Lord; * and true are thy judgments.
138  The testimonies that thou hast commanded * are exceeding righteous and true.
139  My zeal hath even consumed me; * because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
140  Thy word is tried to the uttermost, * and thy servant loveth it.
141  I am small and despised; * yet do I not forget thy commandments.
142  Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, * and thy law is the truth.
143  Trouble and anguish have taken hold upon me; * yet is my delight in thy commandments.
144  The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: * O grant me understanding, and I shall live.

Psalmus 118. x.  Clamavi in toto corde meo

145  Clamávi in toto corde meo, exáudi me, Dómine: * justificatiónes tuas requíram.

Dómine: * et secúndum judícium tuum vivífica me.
150  Appropinquavérunt persequéntes me iniquitáti: * a lege autem tua longe facti sunt.
151  Prope es tu, Dómine: * et omnes viæ tuæ véritas.
152  Inítio cognóvi de testimóniis tuis: * quia in ætérnum fundásti ea.
153  Vide humilitátem meam, et éripe me: * quia legem tuam non sum oblítus.
154  Júdica judícium meum, et rédime me: * propter elóquium tuum vivífica me.
155  Longe a peccatóribus salus: * quia justificatiónes tuas non exquisiérunt.
156  Misericórdiæ tuæ multæ, Dómine: * secúndum judícium tuum vivífica me.
157  Multi qui persequúntur me, et tríbulant me: * a testimóniis tuis non declinávi.
159  Vide quóniam mandáta tua diléxi, Dómine: * in misericórdia tua vivífica me.
160  Princípium verbórum tuórum, véritas: * in ætérnum ómnia judícia justítiæ tuæ.

Psalm 118. x.  Clamavi in toto corde meo

145  I have cried with my whole heart, hear me, O Lord; * I will keep thy statutes.
146  Yea, even unto thee did I cry, save me : *  and I will keep thy commandments.
147  Before the dawning of the morning did I cry; * for in thy word is my trust.
148  Mine eyes look up to thee before the morning; * that I may meditate upon thy word.
149  Hear my voice, O Lord, according unto thy loving-kindness; * and quicken me, according to thy judgments.
150  They that persecute me draw nigh to sin, * but are far from thy law.
151  Thou art nigh at hand, O Lord; * and all thy ways are truth.
152  As concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old, * that thou hast founded them for ever.
153  O consider mine adversity, and deliver me, * for I do not forget thy law.
154  Give judgment concerning me, and deliver me; * quicken me according to thy word.
155  Salvation is far from the ungodly; * for they seek not thy statutes.
156  Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord; * quicken me, according to thy judgments.
157  Many there are that trouble me, and persecute me; * yet do I not swerve from thy testimonies.
158  I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; * because they keep not thy word.
159  Consider, O Lord, how I love thy commandments; * O quicken me, according to thy loving-kindness.
160  Thy word is true from everlasting; * all the judgments of thy righteousness endure for evermore.

Psalmus 118. xi.  Principes persecuti sunt

161  Príncipes persecúti sunt me gratis: * et a verbis tuis formidávit cor meum.
164  Sépties in die laudem dixi tibi, * super judícia justítiæ tuæ.
169  Appropínquet deprecátio mea in conspéctu tuo, Dómine: * juxta elóquium tuum da mihi intelléctum.
170  Intret postulátio mea in conspéctu tuo: * secúndum elóquium tuum éripe me.
171  Eructábunt lábia mea hymnum, * cum docúeris me justificatiónes tuas.
172  Pronuntiábit lingua mea elóquium tuum: * quia ómnia mandáta tua æquitas.
173  Fiat manus tua ut salvet me: * quóniam mandáta tua elégi.

Psalm 118. xi.  Principes persecuti sunt

161  Princes have persecuted me without a cause; * but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162  I will rejoice at thy word, * as one that findeth great spoils.
163  As for lies, I hate and abhor them; * but thy law do I love.
164  Seven times a day do I praise thee; * because of thy righteous judgments.
165  Great peace have they that love thy law; * and they have none occasion of stumbling.
166  Lord, I have looked for thy salvation, * and have loved thy commandments.
167  My soul hath kept thy testimonies, * and loved them exceedingly.
168  I have kept thy commandments and testimonies; * for all my ways are before thee.
169  Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord; * give me understanding according to thy word.
170  Let my supplication come before thee; * deliver me according to thy word.
171  My lips shall speak of thy praise, * when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
172  Yea, my tongue shall sing of thy word; * for all thy commandments are righteous.
173  Let thine hand help me; * for I have chosen thy commandments.
174  I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; * and in thy law is my delight.
175  My soul shall live, and it shall praise thee; * and thy judgments shall help me.
176  I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost; * O seek thy servant, for I do not forget thy commandments.
