The Dual Prayer is always said in silence, in the manner prescribed in Common Forms.

STAND

V.  Deus † in adjutórium meum inténde.
R.  Dómine ad adjuvándum me festína.
Glória Patri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sancto.  Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper,  *  et in sæcula sæculórum.  Amen.   Allelúja.

V.  O God, † make speed to save me.
R.  O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.  As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen.  Alleluia.

And then the Hymn.  The same Hymn is always used, unless the Proper orders its omission.

Rector potens, verax Deus,

Easter Doxology
All praise be thine, O risen Lord,

From Ascension Day until the Vigil of Pentecost inclusive, in place of the Eastertide Doxology above is said the following Ascension Doxology :

And then the Psalms with Antiphon.  The appropriate antiphon is begun by the Officiant, whereupon is intoned by the Precentor the first of the three Psalms, according to the Office of the day as given in the Psalter.  On excepted Feasts, the Antiphon is taken from the COMMON OF THE SAINTS, or from the PROPER OF THE FEAST, and the Festal Psalms are said.

After which the Antiphon is repeated entire by the Choir.

Then is read the Chapter as prescribed in the Proper of the Season or in the Proper or Common of the Saints:

Christus resurréxit a mórtuis primítiæ dormiéntium : quóniam quidem per hóminem mors, et per hóminem resurréctio mortuórum.  Et sicut in Adam omnes moriúntur, ita et in Christo omnes vivificabúntur.

The Little Chapter        1 Cor. 15. 20.
Now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
