Table of Proper Doxologies

On Passion Sunday, Palm Sunday, as well as Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Holy Week, the Antiphon is taken from the Proper.

On Ferias in Passion Week, is said daily, as follows :

The appropriate antiphon is begun by the Officiant, whereupon is intoned by the Precentor the first of the three Psalms, according to the Office of the day as given in the Psalter.  On excepted Feasts, the Antiphon is taken from the COMMON OF THE SAINTS, or from the PROPER OF THE FEAST, and the Festal Psalms are said.

After which the Antiphon is repeated entire by the Choir.

Ant.    Numquid rédditur pro bono malum, quia fodérunt fóveam ánimæ meæ?

Ant.    Shall evil be recompensed for good?  for they have digged a pit for my soul.
