In the name of the Church we give thanks for all the conquests in the kingdom of God. At the same time we hear a fundamental law of the kingdom: "Heaviness may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." |

Exaltábo te, Dómine, quóniam
suscepísti me: * nec delectásti inimícos meos super me. |
I will magnify
thee, O Lord, for thou hast set me up, * and not made my foes to triumph
over me. |

Dómino, sancti ejus: * et confitémini memóriæ sanctitátis ejus. |

te, Dómine, clamábo: * et ad Deum meum deprecábor. |
10 Unto thee, O Lord, will I cry; * and gat
me to my Lord right humbly. |

Dóminus, et misértus est mei: * Dóminus factus est adjútor meus. |
13 The Lord hath heard, and was merciful
